Dr. Weber LeBrun, a Gainesville native, earned her Bachelor’s degree in philosophy at Mount Holyoke College and returned home for medical school at the University of Florida. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts where she was recognized as the Resident Teacher of the Year in 2007. She also earned the Ronald T. Burkman, MD Resident Award for Innovation in Research. Dr. Weber LeBrun showed early interest in urogynecology and, as a second year resident, was awarded an educational grant as an American Urogynecologic Society Resident Scholar. Dr. Weber LeBrun completed an accredited three year fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, MA in 2010. Her fellowship included training in adult urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery including the surgical and non-surgical management of urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic floor dysfunction, pelvic organ prolapse, sexual dysfunction, abdominal, vaginal and minimally invasive surgery.
Dr. Weber LeBrun completed a two year Master’s of Science in Clinical Investigation program at UMass Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences in 2010. Her studies focused on epidemiology, biostatistics, bioinformatics, ethics, multi-disciplinary translational science, scientific writing and peer-review critiques. Dr. Weber LeBrun’s research interests include objective and subjective surgical outcomes assessment, quality of care, comparative effectiveness of surgical devices and techniques, and medical education strategies.

International Medical Outreach
Dr. Weber LeBrun has participated in several international medical outreach programs throughout her educational career. As an enthusiastic collegiate, Dr. Weber LeBrun lived in Gualan, Guatemala for almost a year, developing education programs and teaching health considerations in rural communities. Medical school provided multiple opportunities in Tanzania and Kenya, where Dr. Weber LeBrun joined Choice Humanitarian to help villagers and local public health workers to provide medical care in remote towns. Additional medical outreach trips to Nicaragua and Ecudaor focused on the development of multi-disciplinary approaches to global health care, and included students from UF’s College of Dentistry and Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Weber LeBrun enjoys providing care to Spanish-speaking patients.
