Jordan Staton, MD

Jordan is a native of Charlotte NC.  She received Bachelor of Arts degrees in Classical Civilizations and Biology from Duke University in 2008, where she served as Vice President of the Duke Women’s Club Soccer Team.  Following graduation, she worked as a Research Assistant at the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center and as a patient assistant and program developer at Cornucopia House Cancer Support System.  As a medical student at East Carolina University, Jordan was awarded the highly competitive Sammy Brody Medical Scholarship, which supports students achieving academic excellence and exhibiting strong leadership skills.  She was selected for membership in Alpha Omega Alpha Student Honor Medical Society during her junior year.  Jordan became a resident in our department’s OB-GYN Residency Program in 2013, and graduated in 2017.  Shortly thereafter, she became an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor with the VA, providing medical care to women veterans.
